As the Founder and Director of one of London’s leading tourism marketing, PR and MICE agency, Emma is one of the most connected and influential figures in the UK travel and business events industry. With more than sixteen years practical experience in the tourism, meetings, marketing and PR sectors, her wealth of industry knowledge and expertise is unparalleled.
Emma’s extensive career spans a wide range of sectors, from tour operators and cruise lines to travel management and business organisations. However, her passion for destination marketing, and an in-depth understanding of the UK and European tourism and MICE industries, has resulted in Emma carving out a niche as the go-to expert for overseas government agencies seeking to increase their brand awareness, visitation numbers and tourism economic receipts.
In my spare time I can be found either in my beloved split screen camper, playing my saxophone or looking through a telescope at the stars and planets.
I am the PR Director at Axis Travel Marketing and have more than 11 years of experience in public relations. During my eight years at the company my role involves devising successful strategic campaigns and providing the kind of proactive, hands on PR that consistently delivers results for our clients, having a positive impact on areas such as visitation and brand integrity and delivering a clear return on investment. I love food, enjoy cooking, and trying out quirky places to eat!
I joined Axis in December 2014 as a Trade & PR Manager. My decade long career in travel began at the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday where I looked after a portfolio of leading travel advertisers including airlines, tourist boards and tour operators. Before joining Axis I worked for the UK office of Dubai Tourism where I was responsible the organisation’s trade and consumer communications. Outside of work I enjoy travel, playing music and spending time with my young family.
I have over 14 years’ experience in the worldwide representation arena and can literally say that I have grown up in the travel industry. I have been lucky enough to represent clients as diverse as South American countries, North American States & Cities, high end ski resorts and large hotel chains in the Far East. I joined Axis in 2010 and now, as Destinations Director, oversee all travel trade leisure accounts under the Axis umbrella working closely with my team to ensure strategic success. I like to say I am an “old hand” at many of the leisure trade and consumer representation principles but at the same time young and vibrant enough to understand the importance of emerging trends and the ability to tap into those channels. Outside of work passions include good wine, holidays, skiing and most importantly my young family!
After spending a decade in the travel & tourism industry in India, I moved to London and joined Axis Travel Marketing in 2018 as an Account Manager. While working in Mumbai, I had the opportunity to represent a number of leading tourist board organisations to the Indian market, including Macau, Canada and Ras Al Khaimah. Outside of work I love doing yoga and I enjoy my food.
After working in the travel and marketing industry in Spain, Germany and The Dominican Republic, I finally decided to settle in London, where I joined Axis Travel Marketing in May 2017. My role as Account Executive involves working on a variety of projects, including tour operator training, marketing campaigns, social media, FAM Trips, PR activities and attending consumer shows and trade events, where I represent our amazing destination clients. When I am not at the office I love singing, dancing salsa, watching TV series, cooking and of course… travelling!
Armed with my Passport, Oyster and Blackberry my 16 years of Travel Industry experience took a global leap when joining Axis Travel Marketing in the summer of 2014. As Business Development Director for the C&IT team when I’m not in the office I can be found hosting clients and sharing the experiences that the amazing destinations we represent offer, although best to drop me a line as mobile reception can be intermittent on the Rocky Mountains of Canada or the Vineyards of Lisbon. Away from Axis I love to hack my way around the golf course or find more Vinyl to bulk up my ever growing music collection.
After a number of years in the fashion and jewellery industries in Italy, I moved to London in 2015 to join a leading hotel and leisure group, where I worked across the MICE and the entertainment sectors. I then came to Axis in the summer of 2016 to represent Business Events Canada and the Florida Keys & Key West; two wonderful and diverse destinations. My two great passions are food and travel, wherever I go I love to explore local cuisine and authentic dinning!
I am considered an honorary Brit having lived half my life in the UK and have worked in the hotel industry in London for all of my professional career. In 2013 I joined Dusit International shortly after they set up the Global Sales Office for UK & Europe and head up the small team while managing the UK, Irish and Scandinavian markets personally promoting its Thai gracious hospitality. On Sundays, I can be found working away on our allotment as “Director of Weeding”, a lifetime appointment by my partner!

Susie has been working in communications for over thirty years having started her career as an actress and then moved into media and public relations for clients including Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan and BBC Good Food magazines. In travel communications she has been lucky enough to work for such diverse locations as Mexico, Curacao, Canada, Lisbon, Kuala Lumpur and South Australia. Susie is a published travel writer and has travelled extensively, including a year in Australia, where I worked as a ‘Jillaroo’ in central Queensland and crossed the Nullarbor Plain by train. Like her colleagues at Axis she loves travel, food, cooking, yoga and spending time with her bulldog Flora.
