Axis Travel Marketing Ltd (registered in the UK, Company Reg. No 6614880) is a Marketing and PR agency that represents leisure destinations, business destinations and hotel brands (travel industry clients) from around the world. Through our training programmes, industry events, product development initiatives and overseas FAM
trips and Press Trips, we work with the travel trade, meetings and incentives agencies and media [travel industry contacts] to position clients at the forefront of the UK, Irish and European travel industry.
Collection and use of client information
Registration forms:
In some instances we will need to collect personal and business information from travel industry contacts, via a Registration Form. This information includes names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and other limited personal data. This information is used to process and complete their registration to one of our clients’ Press Trips, FAM Trips or Industry Events.
Registration forms are stored for a period of six months after which they are deleted. Registration forms are shared only and exclusively with the specific client hosting the FAM /Press Trip or event.
Consumer Data
In the instance where we have collated consumer data, via a business to consumer activation, we would have had consent for doing so and will store this data for a period of 18 months when we will refresh this
How we use your data
We use travel industry contacts data to manage our relationships and in order to keep them up to date on our latest news, events and initiatives. We communicate with industry contacts via press releases, newsletters and invites. We reach out to the following target audiences: Product Managers/Executives, Head of Events, Events Managers, Marketing Managers/Executives, Contract Managers, Editors, Travel and Lifestyle Journalists, Bloggers and Influencers.
Our legitimate interests are:
- Keeping our records up to date
- Identifying which of our products and services may interest you
- Developing and managing the brands we represent
How to manage the messages you receive
Our aim is to provide professional excellence, communicate meaningful information and forge and maintain long-term partnerships. Please note that if you ask us to stop sending one/all of our communications [press releases, newsletters and invite] we will keep a note of your personal information and your request so that we can make sure you are excluded from these communications when they are sent out.
How we protect your data
We protect your personal data against unauthorised access, unlawful use, accidental loss, corruption or destruction. We use technical measures such password protection to protect your data and the systems they are held in. We keep these security measures under review and refer to industry security standards to keep up to date with current best practice.
Where is your data processed?
Your data is processed primarily in the UK
We may use systems like MailChimp to send you updates, newsletters and marketing materials. MailChimp is based in the US and therefore some limited information (your name and email address) may be transferred to Mailchimp (and therefore to the US) for the purposes of using that system. Mailchimp is signed up to the US EU Data Privacy Shield and we do not believe that there is any material risk associated with transferring this limited information outside of the EU.

Axis Travel Marketing does not store cookies via its company website.
